Divine Creation

“Oh! Please don’t bother me” I begged chirping my head out of the deep sleep
That was my sweetie better half, who dabbed on my shoulder to remind me its half past five!
I pulled inside my head as a tiny turtle; “just a short nap!” I convinced myself
Huh! Is she turning this home upside down? I could hear the noise of pots and plates dancing

Oh! God, how flawlessly had you designed her body! With all well-defined bends
Eyes as gorgeous as that of a deer! Lips as softy and red as a newly sprout lotus petal!
Nose finely chiseled as a ripen red apple! Eyebrows standing with pride and beauty as a rainbow!
Beyond all!! The most salient one! Her beautiful, long silky brown hair!!

Oh! No I can’t just brief her by her superficial beauty. Deep inside - She is as pretty as she is outside!
So calm, plain and composed in her ways looks and talks; affectionate and caring too in her posture
And too responsible! She never slips off any of the tasks of mine, our kiddy, the house-hold and her job!
Hardly has she burst out at me for any of my blame, oh! Darling, you are my boss at home!

Oh! God, you have bestowed her with two precious gifts; simple yet powerful – her smile and the womb
The former powerful enough to wipe out any worldly worries and hatred
While the latter acts its role as a prop to support human reality!
Yea! Truly you are a “Divine Creation” my beloved sweet wife…

Again the same sweet alarm!! “Wake up dear…. It is morning six!”
Oh! My thoughts were gliding through an amazing dreamAsked myself – “
Why don’t I admit before her that she is the cherub of my paradise on this earth?”
Why chaps on this earth always cause tears in her eyes??!!
