“Oh! Please don’t bother me” I begged chirping my head out of the deep sleep
That was my sweetie better half, who dabbed on my shoulder to remind me its half past five!
I pulled inside my head as a tiny turtle; “just a short nap!” I convinced myself
Huh! Is she turning this home upside down? I could hear the noise of pots and plates dancing
Oh! God, how flawlessly had you designed her body! With all well-defined bends
Eyes as gorgeous as that of a deer! Lips as softy and red as a newly sprout lotus petal!
Nose finely chiseled as a ripen red apple! Eyebrows standing with pride and beauty as a rainbow!
Beyond all!! The most salient one! Her beautiful, long silky brown hair!!
Oh! No I can’t just brief her by her superficial beauty. Deep inside - She is as pretty as she is outside!
So calm, plain and composed in her ways looks and talks; affectionate and caring too in her posture
And too responsible! She never slips off any of the tasks of mine, our kiddy, the house-hold and her job!
Hardly has she burst out at me for any of my blame, oh! Darling, you are my boss at home!
Oh! God, you have bestowed her with two precious gifts; simple yet powerful – her smile and the womb
The former powerful enough to wipe out any worldly worries and hatred
While the latter acts its role as a prop to support human reality!
Yea! Truly you are a “Divine Creation” my beloved sweet wife…
Again the same sweet alarm!! “Wake up dear…. It is morning six!”

How to make it Fruitful?
It is a theme that glides through my mind for a long time. Urging to come out from my nous through the mightiest weapon. Yes. I meant it. I was longing to pen it down. “The futile years on earth”!! Is it really futile? I’d not felt so before. But for last few months, or for last one-two years, such a reflection has begun to sprout even in my mind. Most of you, might have felt the same at some point during the period of your existence on this globe. I am not certain about it. But when I told to one of my good pals that I am about to put my pen to paper on such a topic, he commented like this. Why such a life in vain? Why can’t I devise the root cause of this mishap? Why can’t I advise myself to make the living rewarding? Why can’t I share my thoughts on the same to my fellow beings so that at least one of them would feel a little bit relaxed? Then I would be the happiest in this world, right? Please don’t expect a typical piece of literature from me. I am just trying to share simple, very modest outlooks and opinions of mine, in my own effortless ways at the same time specific to our technical community.
As far as, I am concerned, or to be more generic, we - the IT guys are concerned, our stagnant routine work style is the primary culprit of budding such a nasty thought in our minds. The boredom growing out of repetitive kind of daily activities, the disoriented feeling springing up inside when we realize that our authorities are not recognizing our good and hard work, the difficulty in meeting all the personal and social expenses with the limited budget of our income; at the same time maintaining the corporate life style and social status, internal issues in families, the desperation coming out of the unexpected results of performance appraisals at least for few of them; love failures for another few and avoidance from the beloved ones for yet another few…..All such factors may add fuel to the igniting inside. I believe I’d built-in all the possible reasons applicable for the individuals in such a corporate world. If not, if any of you is aware of any other reasons, please suggest them as comments so that we can make this a fine conversation.
Just before going into deep analysis of the issue, let me share few thoughts from my side. Try to imagine a world, where we are completely contented and comfortable, where we get all the conveniences and blessings as and when we wish, where we have all kind of amusements to enchant us the way we long for, where we don’t have any kind of fears, any kind of problems to work on, where we don’t have any kind of family troubles, where our adored ones are always around, where working for the means of our life is a pleasure, where and when our life moves in a way in which we direct it!!!!Oh! It is not even conceivable completely. But if such a time comes in, have you ever thought about that life, that it will be damn dreary than this beautiful, challenging life? Have the notion ever come into your mind that, the ecstasy of life will be lost in such a situation? If not, I must tell you that such a world will kill all the thrill of the game. Game? Yes, of course the life here is a match. There is no bribing or match fixing for winning it. Only way is to accept all the tribulations in our way as such, and continue to exist in spite of their trails. Thus we can now conclude that problems are imperative part of our existing. Problems come to our life on one day; make us bothered about it for few days; we learn to cope up with them, for next few days; we would become skilled enough to live disregarding the fact that there is some troubling concern at our minds, for the subsequent days. Then those become an essential part of our life. If we are gifted enough to avoid the second stage of the above explained scenario, we would be able to make it to the first phase of our journey towards making the life on earth fruitful. “Gifted” is not the exact term, which suits the situation. It should be “brave” or “spirited”.
Before stating this, I must have told you, what the phases of this challenging journey are, according to my perception. First stage, as I told before, is learning to survive amidst all the worldly woes. Even though at the first sight the initial phase may seem to be not easy for us, I should say to you the second step is the hardest. It is getting word to make each and every moment the most enjoyable. For that, first we have to be trained at, how to circumvent the ennui, we always suffer. We must be capable to spot the goodness, in anything and everything that happen around us. We must be ready to share our inside worries and feelings at least to our closest pals. Shared worries will help to halve the load at our hearts. Also we can try to be a little creative so that we can enjoy in our own world, even without anyone’s help. Now you might be thinking how one can be creative, if he/she is not blessed with a creative talent. I do believe that creativity is a lazy child which lies asleep inside all of us, and which is ready to wake up out of its nap, only if we ourselves are geared up to call its name out. Oh! I am turning away from the matter. What is the next talent we should build up to reach the second phase? We have to learn to smile at anything, which hinders our way. For this, we must learn the art of acting to some extent, that anyone who is watching us might not feel that we hold some niggling feelings inside. The other side of the coin is also very important. I mean not only smiling, weeping out in our lonesome moments is also equally important. This also gives us relief to some degree. If we are successful in implementing all the above qualities in our moral fiber, we would successfully reach our race to second phase.
These qualities have got other returns too. Before others we would always be in high spirits, which will definitely make the ones around us happy and pleased at us. If those are our intimates, and by chance if they know that we have thorny thoughts at heart, it will definitely draw their admiration towards us. Above all if our thoughts, deeds, words and traits can motivate at least one in this world, can we ever be unsuccessful persons? Then can the years on earth be futile? Never!!!That’s it friends. I believe, I’ve put my ideas into words, and you have picked up what I’d intended.
