“You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of”……..I know the first thought came in to your mind will be: what I said is a quote by someone. Of course, it is. And is cited from Albert Camus’s great sayings, who was a famous Journalist Author and Philosopher.
For those who have seen only happiness in life, this concept may be a fancy. And I hope, for those who feel that they haven’t known what happiness is in the whole life, this idea may throw some light. Yes!!!! My dear readers, we should try to be happy, we should find happiness in whatever deeds we do, and we should determine ourselves to be happy always. Almost seventy-five percent of human kinds believe that joy is something that is determined by our surroundings, situations, and what the ALMIGHTY should pour on us. Definitely it is not. It is something which we should pour on ourselves. It is a boon given by a man to himself, if he decides to be.
There is no meaning in saying “I am not happy because of this reason…that reason and so……”. Just think of the blessings we have. Just see upon those who don’t have those blessings….Then we can’t be unhappy. But if we are so deterministic that we should be sad, we are so interested in weeping for all silly and naughty things, and then we’ll have to be helpless. What I learned from my past experience is, if I decide to be happy, I can be happy. And the same is applicable vice-versa also. If we decide to be unhappy, we can only be unhappy.
As the author very well said, what we can assume is, if we try to recognize that the content of happiness is what the content of our own life, we will be the happiest in this world. Yes I am…..And I do believe that I am the happiest in this world. And in my life I have all the blessings that are required for a human being to be happy throughout.
So friends, try to understand what felicity is by your own. Don’t ever try to experiment with your one and only life, to search for the existence or location or reason of happiness. Then ultimately you will be the loser. Don’t ever be a yielding chap. You are not born in this beautiful world for surrendering before challenges. See the beauty in this world, see the beauty within you, and see the beauty in those people around you. Give pleasure to your senses always…. And ultimately, “LIVE HAPPILY”
